We so appreciate everyone's care and concern over the last couple of days. We are trying to keep up with calls/texts/visit as best as we can but we know we've missed people, so a mass update may be the way to go.
The hospice nurses have been great with keeping mom's nausea mostly a bay, but the tradeoff seems to be those meds make her "loopy," which is not her favorite feeling. We are working on hopefully finding the right timing or combo of meds that won't make her quite so woozy.
You could never describe Dee Dee as "lazy," so the lack of energy and weakness isn't meshing well with her mind that still wants to be entertaining all her visitors. Thankfully she's not in pain, just a little loopy.
Mom often quotes her devotional on this blog, and as we read them again this week, it seems like they were written to her and to this situation. She's drawing so much strength from them, from the book of Psalms, and from God himself. We appreciate your continued prayers.
